On-site services can be scheduled on most school days between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday and between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Friday. Sessions can also be done remotely, via an online meeting app such as Zoom. (Note: during periods of restrictions, all sessions are done remotely.) We offer remote evening and weekend appointments as well.
While we do not offer summer school courses, we are open during the summer to help those who are attending summer school. We also offer several summer enrichment workshops as well as one-on-one tutoring sessions for elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Cancellation and No Show Policy: We require 24 hour notification to change or cancel an appointment.

Without 24 hour notification, all sessions are forfeited and/or charged a no show fee* of $50 per hour.
*Sessions are a no show if the LC has not been contacted within the first 15 minutes of the start of the session.
If you are ill, we ask that you notify us first thing in the morning so that we can forgo the fee.
A credit card is required to be on file for pay-as-you-go sessions and/or a package of sessions.
No, you do not have to be an Oaks Christian School student. We serve students from public, private, independent, and online schools around the world, as well as those from homeschool or independent study programs.
The Academic tutors at the Learning Center are adult employees who are experts in the subjects they teach. All tutors have been thoroughly screened and pass through rigorous testing in their areas of focus.
We serve students in all grades, and we work with you to find the right tutor for each student’s level and needs.
While the Learning Center does not offer a homeschooling program, we provide tutors to work with and support students who are homeschooled.
We work with students of varying academic levels: CP, Honors, or selected AP courses.
