Our expert tutors provide expert guidance in English, history, math, science, and foreign languages.

We tutor elementary, middle, and high school students, including honors and AP courses.

Our executive function tutors take a holistic approach to learning, helping students build organization, independence, and self-reliance. Through personalized support, our tutors guide students in developing the skills they need to succeed.

Instructional Support for Online, Homeschool, or Hybrid Students

Students needing additional support to master new material or complete online, homeschool, or independent study courses will receive expert instruction and encouragement through our one-to-one instructional support. Our staff can help your student complete their classes successfully and on schedule. Although the Learning Center does not provide curriculum, we work with students from many different online schools and programs in a variety of subjects.

Learning Center Pricing

1:1 CP session (60 minutes): $80 per session or a package of 5 sessions for $350

1:1 AP session (60 minutes): $90 per session or a package of 5 sessions for $400

2:1 session (60 minutes): $60 per session or a package of 5 sessions for $275 *see note

Executive Functioning Skills Session (30 min): $40 per session or a package of 5 sessions for $175

We understand that you have many options when choosing a tutoring program for your student. Whether your student needs to fill learning gaps, needs extra support in a challenging class, or needs to be challenged more with new material, the Learning Center has tutors available to fit your individual needs.

Professional Tutors

All our tutors are adult, college educated tutors with training and expertise in their subject area. As school employees, our tutors go through rigorous interview and background check procedures to meet the school’s high standards. These professionals continue to receive regular professional development and training to hone their skills and apply them in real time. Our academic tutors personalize their approach to meet your student’s needs and learning style, guiding them through the course content and coaching them on strategies to be successful.

Relationship

Our tutors know that there is a lot more to academic success than just learning school content. Building relationships with our students and helping them to build competence and confidence requires more than just reviewing content. We approach the student holistically, understanding that each student has unique strengths and challenges, and we come alongside them to help them chart a pathway to success.

Communication

We believe that communication increases the probability of success. Each one-on-one tutoring session is followed up by a “Tutor Report” email to the parent, which summarizes the material or topics covered during the session. We also coach students on how to communicate appropriately with teachers.

Safety and Convenience

The Learning Center is located in Westlake Village on the Oaks Christian School campus, right off the 101 Freeway. 31255 Cedar Valley Dr, Westlake Village, CA 91362 Appointments can be scheduled for in-person or remote sessions. They can be scheduled during or after school hours, in the evenings and on some weekends. Remote sessions can also be scheduled to accommodate different time zones.
